
What to expect
This will smell like it should have a pretty photo… but remember: this isn’t “correct” food; this is give-yourself-grace food 🙂
What to do
Dump EVERYTHING from your grocery pick-up or delivery into a big pot or deep pan:
- 2 lb ground meat (beef/lamb/turkey/chicken)
- 1 container diced onions
- 1 container pico de gallo
- 3 ginger cubes (3 tsp) (straight from freezer)
- 3 garlic cubes (3 tsp) (straight from freezer)
- ½ bag steak fries or your choice of frozen potato (straight from freezer)
- ½ bag frozen mixed vegetables (straight from freezer)
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 2 tsp salt
Spices (dump in too):
- 2 Tbsp coriander powder
- 1 Tbsp cumin powder
- 1 Tbsp black pepper
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- 1 pinch clove powder
Cook:
- Heat medium-high, cover 8 minutes
- Uncover, stir / break up meat
- Cook uncovered 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until:
- meat is browned
- potatoes are tender
Optional: cilantro on top.
